Terms of service — infopath-open
Last updated 10 October 2026.
Plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, assume the reading that is more favourable to you and tell us.
Who we are
infopath-open is operated by TrainedBooks, an independent software business in California, United States, which operates the agentwares products. It shows InfoPath forms (.xml) laid out through their templates (.xsn) in your web browser, so they can be read, printed or saved as PDF, and lists a form's fields when its template is missing.
You can reach a human at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact. That form is also where to send a question, a request about your data, or a complaint.
infopath-open is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft. InfoPath is named only to identify the file format it reads.
Free, with no account
Opening, viewing, printing and saving forms and templates is free and needs no account, key or signup. Nothing here is for sale. These terms apply from your first use.
Your files stay in your browser
The forms and templates you open are read by code running in your browser, on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Nothing in these terms gives us any right to them, because we never receive them.
What it shows
It lays a form out with its template's own views, following Microsoft's published description of the format, but it is not InfoPath. It does not load secondary data connections, run code or rules in a template, or verify digital signatures, and the page says so next to each form. What it shows can differ from what InfoPath showed.
Nothing it shows is professional advice — not legal, records-management, financial or tax advice.
What we do not promise
It is provided as is, without warranty. A file can be in a variant it does not read, what it shows can differ from what the original program showed, and the site can be unavailable.
Because it is free, to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from relying on what it shows.
Ending it
Stop using it whenever you like; there is no account to close. We may change or retire the tool; if we retire it, its own page will say so first.
Changes and disputes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change applies only to use after it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Nothing here takes away a right the law where you live gives you as a consumer. Before anything formal, write to us at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather just fix it.
